Call or stop by your local Salvation Army. This non-profit charity organization can refer individuals to government aid, provide emergency rental assistance, food, money for utilities, medications, and more.
Senior Assistance
Non-profit agencies, such as the Indiana Agency on Aging, offer assistance to the elderly and people over 55. Resources include free food, medical and health care assistance, transportation, and in-home care. Seniors can even get help finding a job.
